DAY 01 ARRIVE MUMBAI
Welcome to India. After clearing immigration and custom formalities, transfer to your resort.

DAY 02 MUMBAI (B)
Begin your tour in the morning with a visit to Prince of Wales Museum, Jahangir Art Gallery, Gandhi House, Victoria Terminus, Hanging Gardens, and the drive along Marine drive, often called the "Queen's Necklace". Cruise across the waters of Mumbai, after boarding your boat at the Gateway of India…door to the east, with its face to the west, to visit the Elephanta Caves.

DAY 03 MUMBAI / AURNAGABAD (B)
Fly to Aurangabad. Upon arrival, transfer to your motel.

DAY 04 AURANGABAD (B)
In the morning, see the world famous rock-cut temples of Ellora caves depicting the story of the evolution of Buddhism, Hinduism and Jainism.
In the afternoon, excursion takes you to Ajanta, one of India's most impressive archeological sights. The inside walls of these 29 rock-hewn caves here are covered with frescoes depicting vividly the story of Lord Buddha.

DAY 05 AURANGABAD / NEW DELHI (B)
Morning free for personal activities. Late afternoon transfer to the airport for flight to Delhi.

DAY 06 NEW DELHI (B)
A morning tour of Old & New Delhi takes you through the Red Fort, Jama Masjid Mosque, Raj Ghat, Chandni Chowk Bazaars, House of Parliament, Raj Path, President's House, India Gate, National Museum, Connaught Place, Qutub Minar and the Humayu's Tomb.

DAY 07 NEW DELHI / UDAIPUR (B)
Fly to the lake city of Udaipur, perhaps the most romantic city in all of India. Evening enjoy a scenic sunset cruise on Lake Pichola as you pass by numerous island palaces, gleaming in the sun, reflecting an era of pomp and glory.

DAY 08 UDAIPUR
In the morning, visit the vast and exquisite City Palace and its museum, followed by Jagdish Temple and Sahelion Ki Bari.
In the afternoon take an excursion to Eklingji, a beautiful white marble Shiva temple, and Nagda, the site of two eleventh century temples ornamented with beautiful carvings.

DAY 09 UDAIPUR / JODHPUR (B)
Prepare for your onward journey by road to Jodhpur, the Sun City (260 kms - 6 hours). Along the way stop at the Ranakpur Jain Temples, one of the biggest and most important ancient Jain sect temple complexes in India. Built in 1439 it has 29 marble halls supported by 1444 carved pillars, none of which are alike.

DAY 10 JODHPUR (B)
This morning explore Jodhpur once the capital of Marwar, situated in the heart of thar desert. Visit the massive Mehrangarh Fort, filled with courtyard, palaces and museums, constantly reminding you of the city's glorious past.

DAY 11 JODHPUR / JAIPUR (B, D)
Early this morning travel by luxury train to Jaipur, the "pink city" capital of modern Rajasthan. Dinner tonight is at Chokhi Dhani, an ethnic village resort hotel where the rural atmosphere gives you an opportunity to see folk-dances, puppet show, magic show, athletic wonders, and much more.

DAY 12 JAIPUR (B)
In the morning, visit the Amber Fort in the morning and step back in time as you climb up the hill on brightly caparisoned elephants! Inside the fort are lavish courtyards, and exquisite marble and mirror inlaid halls.
An afternoon tour of the city takes you to the City Palace Museum, Jantar Mantar Observatory, and the Palace of Winds.

DAY 13 JAIPUR / AGRA (B)
Morning drive to Agra en rout visit Fatehpur Sikri, often referred to as India's Pompeii. This imperial capital, deep frozen in time, built by Akbar the Great, is a remarkable structure of elegance & striking grandeur - a filling epilogue to an imperial ruler.
For centuries Agra has lured travelers to India and its time you will find out why? Though the Taj Mahal is always being compared to some of the world's architectural masterpieces, it can best be described as one of the most exquisite monuments to love.

DAY 14 AGRA / KHAJURAHO (B)
Fly to Khajuraho, the religious and political capital of the Chandela dynasty during 9th to 13th century. Visit the principal temples in the afternoon noted for their erotic carvings. Every square inch of these temples are covered with sculptures depicting human and divine forms in every aspect of life.

DAY 15 KHAJURAHO / VARANASI (B)
Fly to the holy city of Varanasi, the capital of the Hindu faith since the dawn of history. In the afternoon drive to Sarnath, centre of the Buddhist world, where Budha preached his first sermon some 2500 years ago.

DAY 16 VARANASI (B)
Early morning visit the "ghats" at sunrise for a boat ride that takes you past incredible scene of multitudes coming to pay homage. Thereafter walk through an inextricable maze of narrow streets and alleys visiting numerous temples dedicated to various deities.

DAY 17 VARANASI / KATHMANDU (B, D)
Fly to Kathmandu, capital of the kingdom of Nepal - an isolated world where people live much as they have for 1200 years. As you approach, see a breath taking view of terraced hilltops set against the back drop of the Himalayas. After immigration and custom formalities, an ATI representative will greet you and assist you to your requirement.
In the evening enjoy authentic Nepali Dinner.

DAY 18 KATHMANDU (B)
Kathmandu is a rare combination of the old and new in art, culture and civilization. The pagoda- style architecture scattered throughout the city, the amazing temples dedicated to various deities, the breathtaking sculptures and carvings, the ageless monuments…all combine to make Kathmandu a priceless museum beneath the blue dome of the sky. Besides Kathmandu, the only large cities of Nepal are its suburbs, Patan and Bhadgaon. Patan is the circular "city of beauty", with its many palaces and temples embellished with intricately carved gods and goddesses in erotic poses. The art and architecture show an interesting mixture of Hindu and Buddhist influence. Visit the Royal Residential Palace and the Durbar Square. You will find more examples of Nepalese architecture in Bhadgaon. See Bodhnath, the largest Buddhist stupa in the world; Pashupatinath, a sacred temple near the holy River Bagmati; and, Swayambhunath, with its all-seeing eyes of Lord Buddha painted on the four-sided base of the spire.
DAY 19 KATHMANDU DEPART (B)
Catch up with the remaining part of sight seeing in the morning. Its time to bid farewell to this Himalayan Kingdom as you are assisted to the airport for your onward.
